Dear SOAR Families,
This morning we received notice from the district (Denver Public Schools) that in-person learning has been pushed back to Fall Break. This means that students will be engaged in remote learning until October 15, 2020. Then, students will go on fall break.
In-person learning will tentatively start on Tuesday, October 20, 2020.
Our overriding priority throughout this challenging time has been – and continues to be – safeguarding the health and well-being of our community. It is critical that we partner with public-health agencies to monitor and reduce risks for all students, but most critically for the students and families most impacted by COVID-19.
We want to assure you that even in light of this change, we are more motivated than ever to bring high quality teaching to our kids and to engage with parents and families more intentionally and more frequently than ever before!
Please continue to closely watch your email and school app. for updates related to online classroom access, teacher assignments, etc.
