The staff at SOAR are committed to providing all students with an outstanding educational experience, and go to great lengths each and every day to make the most of every minute that your child is in our care. Our classrooms are active learning environments from the moment that students arrive until dismissal.
To provide all students with the educational experiences they deserve with minimal disruptions, we respectfully ask that parents and guardians avoid picking up students before the end of the day.
For this reason, it is our school’s policy:
- To discourage the dismissal of students after 2:00 PM by requesting that parents make appointments/plans after the school day is over.
- Engage the support of our School Social Worker for students who are getting picked-up early routinely.
- Require families to enter into attendance contracts when their absence from class is impacting their learning.
