March 8 | Remote School Day
For all SOAR students!
As you may have seen on the news, Governor Polis prioritized interested school staff to receive the COVID vaccine. DPS has authorized one remote learning day to support the variety of vaccination schedules.
In the interest of planning, March 8th will be a remote learning day for all SOAR students. Students will take home their Chromebook and any needed supplies on Friday, March 5th.
Utilizing this remote day option prevents the need of substitute teachers and/or missed instruction. We understand that remote learning can be a challenge for some families. If you’re in need of utilizing Leading Edge as a remote learning center, please contact our School Social Worker, Megan Marulli at mmarulli@soardenver.org.
We appreciate your partnership in keeping learning purposeful, while doing all we can to maintain safety in our school. Thank you.
Reminders for remote learning:
- Student attendance is tracked and recorded based on students attending the full day of live instruction.
- Students need to have their camera on and manage their sound as instructed by their teacher.
Students need to bring back their Chromebooks on Tuesday, March 9th.
